S O U N D S C A P E S

Inspired by the depth, energy, and movement of song, I created ‘S o u n d s c a p e s’ as a series that captures the emotional landscapes that emerge from my experience of music. In some pieces, I layer fluid acrylics with heavier bodied mediums to translate richly textured songs onto canvas. In other works, a smoother background gives way to a notable melody. This ongoing series is comprised of works done in various mediums and a broad range of sizes, aimed at representing the diversity of my personal musical experiences.
