Instruments of Change
Instruments of Change is an ongoing exploration of art, medicine, and social change. The first two of the series are titled the painter and the vocalist. Painting and music have been tremendous sources of healing in my own life, and I hope to have the opportunity to help heal those who have unfailingly healed me time and time again. This series is a tribute to the beauty of human anatomy and the capabilities of modern medicine to preserve form and function. More importantly, it is the embodiment of a promise I’ve made to myself as a future doctor, to not just preserve life, but help patients do what makes them feel alive.
